Since being diagnosed with adult ADHD & Bipolar II disorder, and being treated for both, I have been very busy "creating". The medications I now take help me to focus on what's important to me, and that main importance is crafting/art/creating. Thanks to this, I have been creating non-stop, and I've never been happier! Here are a few more pictures of my latest 'creations'. Hope you enjoy them and maybe even find some inspiration to delve into your own creative nature and make something fun!
My Bling Clipboard!
I wish I had done it all in red...
Circles... Lots n' lots of circles!
Be Your Fabulous Self~
This used to be a bubblegum/pepto-bismol pink... NOT my colour
So I painted it RED!
Promise me...I'm making a book of Inspiring Quotes as a gift for my Mum.
This is page 1...
My other works in progress (or WIPs, for short) are:

Something I call "Birds on a Wire" in my art journal
A gift for a friend that is vegan
A "poster/print" that says "Life Begins After Coffee"
Will post updates as I go...
Hope everyone is having a lovely day, and to those for whom it is applicable:
Okay, I'm a horrible blogger. I always have the best of intentions of keeping it up, but then I get busy doing other things and totally forget to update on my projects! Sorry about that! LOL
So, I've been busy! Made lots of things 'art' wise and will try to post them all in one go...
I've been working on journal pages galore. Here are some pic's of the ones so far... are they perfect? No. Are they professional in appearance? Not at all! Did I have fun doing them? YES! Art journaling for me is about having fun or for healing or for dealing with feelings or for expressing an inborn need to create. That's all that matters.
These are just a few pics of what I've been up to. I have many more but will post them later. I've been spending a lot of fun time creating covers for my journals. Not sure what I enjoy more, what I do on the outside or on the inside. Either way, I am having fun, and of course the bottom line is, its all that matters!
(p.s. Not sure what happened with some of the pics going sideways-sorry 'bout that too!)
So, I've been working on some pages in one of my "many" art journals, and thought I'd share them here...
I think I have more fun making the backgrounds than I do anything else. You can see a few pages that haven't actually been finished or used yet (like the one directly above that I lovingly call "So Not Pollock) but that's okay. Its all about having Fun!
Sorry!! I've been so busy battling a head cold & trying to finish the "studio" that I haven't actually posted anything here. I have however written 2 craft articles of projects currently in progress and will post those in the very near future (when I finally have the studio done!).
While you wait for those to be posted, I hope you will enjoy this wonderful little article I came across from DivineCaroline.com!
"Twelve Surprising Uses for Vicks Vapor Rub". A few of my favourites are:
On Your Tootsies
Applying Vicks to your feet provides nighttime cough relief. Generously rub VapoRub all over your feet and cover them with socks. Within moments your cough will subside—in the morning you’ll wake up a new, hacking free woman.
Achy Breaky Muscles
Vicks relieves sore, overworked muscles. It increases circulation and provides almost instant aid. Use a generous portion and apply it all over the aching area. (Be sure to warn your bedmate as the stench can ensure a nookie-free night.)
Go Away MosquitoesVicks wards off mosquitoes. Apply small dabs of Vicks VapoRub to your skin and clothes and mosquitoes will steer clear. If you do get bitten, apply Vicks to the area and cover it with a Band-Aid to relieve itching.
I've been working diligently over the past week or so on getting all of my crafting/art/beading/yarn/miscellaneous craft stuff organized so I can pull it all together in a craft "studio/room/space". Well, my body decided on Friday past that this would be an excellent time to procure & manifest a sinus head cold. Loverly.
I have the usual symptoms of achey bones & pulsating head with throbbing ears, but I still managed to get a bit done. I will try to upload some pics of my progress later. Right now I need a cup of strong coffee, a warm cozy blanket & cuddle time with George.
